TECHNOLOGY
Our unique manufacturing technology was developed for the production of spiral wound laminated cores for axial flux machines. It can be used for different setups of such motor technologies - from flat rotor discs to complex machined double sided stators with a round slot design.
The cores are precisely wound from electrical steel in an innovative process and simultaneously full-surface bonded with high strength. The whole range of electrical steels from non-oriented to grain-oriented materials.
Wound and bonded cores can be made in axial lengths from 4mm to 100mm. Diameters of stator and rotor cores can range from 15mm to 650mm and higher.
After production of the wound spiral-shaped core, mechanical processing of diameters, slots or pockets can be carried out. Highlights are CNC-like geometric design freedom, unmatched precision and function integration.
To optimize part efficiency mechanical part processing is followed by a surface treatment to eliminate electric short-circuit in between lamination layers.
